PULSE: A Third-Space for Youth

Sunday, April 5 @ 1 p.m.–4 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

PULSE (Playing, Uniting, Learning, Supporting, Experiencing) is a third-space concept designed specifically for college and high-school–aged youth within the arts community.

PULSE will have 3 hours of weekly “studio time” with structured activity such as script reading, workshops, and mentorship programs, followed by unstructured affinity spaces and open talkback time. This space exists without a commitment to a final performance, unlike many spaces in the youth theatre world.

Every Sunday from 1-4pm, show up at Union Arts Center’s Box Office and a member of the PULSE team will be there to help you find our space! It’s always a good idea to show up 10 minutes early, and bring a water bottle, a notebook, and clothes you can move comfortably in. If you arrive late, there will be information on how to find us, and how to contact the session lead in the Box Office. This space is here to serve all members of our community, so join us however you can, whenever you can! Our sessions are FREE, with no registration required! To join our weekly newsletter and RSVP to secure your spot every week, sign up here. Tap into your creative PULSE, every Sunday at Union Arts Center!
