‘Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus’ the Musical

Our second Tacoma Musical Playhouse Family Theater show for the season is “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!” The Musical! Show dates: Jan. 17–18, 24–25, 2026.

It’s not easy being the Pigeon – you never get to do anything! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird can do something.

Whatever you do … Don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus! Based on Mo Willems’ beloved book, this hilarious and high-energy musical invites kids (and grown-ups!) along for a wild ride with the Pigeon and his feathered friends. Full of catchy songs, laughs and lovable characters, it’s the perfect show for young audiences and anyone who’s ever been told “no!”
