Pride Celebration at NW Trek

Saturday, June 6 @ 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

Celebrate Pride and our LGBTQ+ community at Northwest Trek!

Animals will enjoy rainbow-themed enrichment (like rainbow ice treats and rainbow fruit skewers) all weekend long! Many habitats will be decorated with more than just rainbows. Different communities under the LGBTQ+ umbrella will see their flag colors represented through banners, paper chains, and tissue paper poofs – all of which are enrichment for our animals.

Throughout the park you will find colorful decorations, and a photo op banner outside our Cheney Discovery Center. Connect with our visiting partners from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and our Northwest Trek Zookeepers Association to find ways to support your community.
