Park Pop-Ups at Cross Park

Discover the excitement of Park Pop-Ups, a free, drop-in event series perfect for families! Join us on the following Tuesdays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at either Cross Park or Meridian Habitat Park.

Each Park Pop-Up features a unique theme, providing hands-on crafts, engaging games, and occasionally featuring special guests. Come along and enjoy a few hours of creative, family-friendly fun in the park!

Pop-Up Schedule:

June 9 – Pollinator Party – Cross Park
Join us at the park to celebrate pollinators! Explore interactive activities, discover cool facts about bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and make a seed bomb to take home.

July 14 – National Parks & Recreation Month Celebration – Meridian Habitat Park
Celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with face painting, giant lawn games, bubbles and chalk stations, and our craft tables! Mimi’s Ice Cream will also be in attendance with tasty treats to purchase.

September 15 – Celebrate Latino Conservation Week – Cross Park
Kick off the start of Hispanic Heritage Month at Cross Park! Enjoy interactive activities to learn about Latine contributions to conservation, a walk along the Naches Trail Preserve to explore Hispanic heritage, Storytime with Pierce County Library, and themed crafts for the whole family.

November 10 – Crafts & Cocoa – Cross Park
Join us for Crafts & Cocoa, a cozy Park Pop-Up featuring fall crafts and a cocoa and apple cider station. Come enjoy a warm, relaxed time with family and friends!

December 8 – Crafts & Cocoa – Cross Park
Winter Wonderland brings seasonal fun to the park with fun winter crafts, engaging games, and a cozy cocoa and apple cider station.
