Pond scum comes to life under a magnifying glass! This muck is often home to insect larvae, worms, snails and tiny fish. Learn about how water is used as a crucial part of their life cycle and how they contribute to the larger ecosystem. Explore the tiny aquatic world as we collect and identify specimens, getting a close look at these fascinating creatures. Dress for the weather, rain or shine. Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 4-13 years. Free.
