PlantCon, the largest plant hobbyist convention in the nation, is coming to Seattle for the first time. Taking place August 15-16, 2026, at the Seattle Convention Center from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day, the nonprofit-hosted event brings together plant lovers, enthusiasts, and curious newcomers for a weekend of workshops, presentations, shopping, and community.

Attendees can explore a 175-booth market featuring sellers from around the globe, with offerings ranging from starter plants to rare collector items, handcrafted planters, plant-inspired jewelry, and clothing, with the chance to connect directly with local growers and international vendors.

On August 15-16, 2026, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM at the Seattle Convention Center at the
Summit building, attendees will experience:

-175+ plant and plant-related booths where guests can learn and connect with local growers and international exhibitors, as well as reptiles!
-Presentations and hands-on workshops from global speakers and plant experts
-Meet plant influencers, participate in community activities, scavenger hunts, silent auctions, and more!
-Family-friendly activities, such as children’s author story times, interactive presentations, and an indoor park

Welcome to all! PlantCon is inclusive of ALL national and international plant organizations and provides fellow non-profit organizations with free spaces to help spread their missions.
