Jennifer Malia is an English professor at Norfolk State University. She is working on a children’s picture book and a mother-daughter memoir about her journey with her daughter on the autism spectrum. Her personal essays have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, New York Magazine, Glamour, Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping (US & UK), Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Country Living, Dr. Oz The Good Life and Special Broadcasting Service (Australia), among others.
