May the Fourth at The Museum of Flight

Saturday, May 2 @ 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

On Saturday, May 2, the Museum celebrates everything Star Wars with its annual May the Fourth event. The Force is strong during the largest Star Wars event in the Northwest. Family programs include lightsaber shows and training by the Saber Guild – Kamino Temple, over a dozen friendly and interactive R2-D2s, wildly energetic music by the 8-Bit Brass Band; and the authentically attired troopers, pilots, and otherworldly citizens portrayed by the 501st Garrison Titan Star Wars cosplayers. Not to mention the throngs of costumed Museum visitors engaged in the fun of Star Wars.

The May the Fourth activities also include Star Wars-themed face painting, storytime and family workshops, plus LEGO and Star Wars scale model displays, continuous theater showings of the animated series, Star Wars Rebels, and a coffee cantina with U Cafe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Programs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May the Fourth activities are free for Museum Members and included with Museum admission, those arriving in costume receive a $3 discount on admission.
