Make Your Own Nature Journal

Thursday, April 9 @ 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m.

This all ages crafting class is a fun and creative activity for kids and parents on Spring break. Learn simple bookbinding techniques to make your own nature journal from materials you may already have around the house. These beautiful journals are a great way to document your experiences in nature. Suitable for ages 5 and up, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult. After the class, attendees are welcome and encouraged to head outside to draw around Adriana Hess Wetland Park! Taught by Tahoma Bird Alliance member and volunteer instructor Laura Martinez.

All materials will be provided and light snacks will be available. If you plan to draw around the park, come prepared for the weather. This class is suitable for ages 5 and up, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
