Saturday, April 18 @ 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Black Earth Day is a free community celebration of environmental justice, culture, and collective action — bringing people together to learn, connect, and care for our communities and the planet. There will be workshops, demos, food, and more!

Join us Saturday, April 18 at Genesee Park & Playfield from 10 AM – 3 PM for a joyous and unapologetically Black Environmental Justice experience!

Event Activities will Include:
– Free Hearty & Healthy Meals from a wide range of Beloved Local Vendors!
– Gorgeous Plant & Garden Giveaways for Home Decor and Homegrown Produce!
– Fun Interactive Environmental & Public Health Workshops!
– & Open Spaces to Express Yourself through Art and Music!

We ALL are deeply connected to the beauty we see in our natural world!

Black Earth Day is our moment to take a breath, rediscover purpose, and unleash the child-like bliss we so often suppress on our day-to-day!
