Broadview Branch 50th Anniversary Celebration

Broadview opened Dec. 15, 1975, after a lengthy campaign by neighbors; original dedication on Jan. 25, 1976.

Join staff and community members to celebrate Broadview Branch’s 50th anniversary with live music, refreshments, memories, prizes and plenty of other surprises!

11 a.m. Kids and family event: Native Storytelling, drums, smudging, and sound bath with Siobhan

12 p.m. Games and art activities begin

1 p.m. Announcements, dedication, cake cutting and Portage Bay Quartet begin the celebration

1 p.m. Rent a historian (learn about Broadview history from an expert)

2:15 p.m. Portage Bay Quartet second set

3:00 p.m. Marching band through the stacks with 3 Horn Quartet

3:30 p.m. Live music with 3 Horn Quartet

5:30 p.m. Party ends
