Join us at Wright Park for our May Day Celebration!
May Day is an ancient festival with origins and evolutions present all over the world, from Europe to India to Afro-Caribbean countries. This day marks the beginning of summer between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Just as people have done for thousands of years, we will gather flowers to make flower crowns, dance around a may pole, sing together, and Welcome Lovely May!
Come by Wright Park on May 1st at 6:00pm to join the festivities. This is a free, family-friendly all ages event.
