Vashon Japan Festival

This year, Mukai’s beloved Japan Festival is moving to Ober Park! While restoration work continues at Mukai Farm & Garden — the historic home of the festival — we’re bringing the celebration to the heart of downtown Vashon in collaboration with the Vashon Park District and Vashon Library.

Join us for main stage programming including taiko drumming and sumo wrestling, local vendors offering unique goods, and hands-on activities including kimono demonstration and crafts. All the community spirit, in a fresh new setting!

We’re grateful for your flexibility as we care for the historic Mukai property, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Mukai Farm & Garden in the years ahead.
