Fremont Arts Council May Day Celebration

Saturday, May 2 @ 1 p.m.–7 p.m.

This free, all-ages event celebrates the beginning of summer with a community potluck picnic, flower headdress making, children’s crafts and games, live music, and of course — a joyful dance around the Maypole. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy. No RSVP needed!

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck!
Vegan and gluten-free options are especially appreciated so everyone can enjoy the feast.

The celebration also features giant puppet performances, three Maypole dances, and lively musical sets from the fabulous Ricky Gene and the Return of the Deadgrass, a community drum circle led by Carold Nelson.
