Chum Salmon and Cider Celebration

Sunday, Nov. 8 @ 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.

Join Stream Team in celebrating the return of the Chum salmon!

At McLane Creek Nature Trail’s welcoming shelter, enjoy a cup of hot apple cider and a fresh cider donut before strolling to the creek to marvel at the spawning salmon. Learn about water quality and salmon from the Pacific Shellfish Institute and a local Girl Scout troop, who will provide hands-on, family-friendly activities. At the creek, trained Salmon Stewards will teach you about the wild Chum and answer your questions.
