How do I play?
Arrrrrr! July is National Parks & Recreation month, so let’s go play in the parks! Download and print or pick up your treasure mapat the Burien Community Center and follow the path to fun prizes. Spend the month of July checking out Burien’s parks. Then explore the park and take photos with Billy the Duck. Use the hashtag #BurienParks or send photos to parksinfo@burienwa.gov for more chances for prizes!
Prizes
Oh yes, there are prizes! When you hit the halfway mark on your treasure map, stop by the Burien Community Center to get a stamp and claim your halfway prize. You must have at least five (5) parks crossed off on your treasure map to receive the halfway prize. These prizes will be available on or after July 13.
Want another chance to win prizes? Continue through the end of the month and bring your treasure map back to the community center once it’s complete. There may even be a few surprises throughout the month! Stay connected on Facebook and Instagram for updates along the way.
