‘The Extraordinary Caterpillar’ Event

SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve invites you to a screening of The Extraordinary Caterpillar, a film inviting viewers into the hidden world of nature’s tiniest superheroes and the vital role they play in sustaining healthy ecosystems. Featuring extensive macro cinematography of brightly colored caterpillars, some sporting horns, and other Elvis Presley pompadours. This one-hour film appeals to all ages. In addition to the film, we will present a brief presentation on SHADOW Lake, its history, and its heroic contributions to the local ecosystem! Family friendly games will also be available, and time for questions about SHADOW’s biodiversity and conservation.

SHADOW (Save Habitat And Diversity Of Wetlands) Lake Nature Preserve is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Registration is required for this event. Registration is free, but donations are encouraged. Parking is available!
