Secular Humanistic Sukkot Celebration & Potluck

Sunday, Sept. 27 @ 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Come join the Circle for a God-optional, human-centered Sukkot celebration and community potluck! This is a great opportunity for secular-curious Jews and open-minded families to learn about and experience a secular Sukkot celebration.

What is Sukkot? Imagine a Thanksgiving holiday dinner at a campsite in nature and you’re halfway there! Together we will build a sukkah (shelter) in the park, decorate it to make it our own, and wave the lulav & etrog together. What are the lulav & etrog? Attend to find out! And what would a Jewish event be without food!?

Come for the community, stay for the park amenities: The park we reserved boasts a petting zoo, a playground, and plenty of flat (but scenic!) walking trails. Bring the whole family! (Yes, fur babies, too!)

All ages & abilities welcome!
