Get ready for a frightfully fun afternoon of robotics with Snapology @ Bricks & Minifigs Issaquah!
In this Halloween-themed workshop, builders will team up to create and program two creepy creations: Frankenstein’s Monster and a Dancing Skeleton . Along the way, students will explore the basics of robotics, coding, and mechanical design as they build, test, and debug their spooky models. With creative challenges, hands-on problem-solving, and plenty of wickedly fun surprises, this workshop is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with STEM, teamwork, and imagination!
What kids learn:
Programming & debugging – reading, testing, and modifying Scratch-based code to control their robotic builds
Mechanical engineering basics – exploring how motors, sensors, gears, axles, and the robot Hub work together
Problem-solving skills – identifying errors, testing solutions, and improving builds through hands-on challenges
Teamwork & communication – collaborating with a partner to build, program, and complete activities
