This summer, Seattle will be a hotbed of FIFA World Cup action (June 15–July 6), and I know you and your kids won’t want to miss out on the excitement. There are plenty of ways to experience the World Cup while it’s in town, even if attending a match isn’t on your list.
From neighborhood watch parties and fan zones to soccer-themed museum exhibits and even a tribal powwow, I’ve found 25 activities and events (most of them are free!) that are perfect for soccer fans of all ages. My list is arranged thematically by event type so families can easily make a plan.
So, gather your crew and throw on your favorite team’s jersey — these events will be some of the summer’s hottest for families and fans.

Watch parties and fan zones
City of SeaTac FIFA Activation Sites
Dates: June 1–July 19
Cost: Free
The City of SeaTac is offering three activation sites where fans can find food, entertainment, game screenings and a welcoming place to gather for all. Starting June 1, the Bullpen at Angle Lake, Stoup SeaTac City in the Old Bank Building and SeaTac Welcoming Plaza will be running programming daily through July 19.
Watch the World Cup at Legacy Square, Renton
Dates: Select dates June 11–July 19
Cost: Free
The City of Renton has a new hub in the heart of downtown where the community can gather for arts and culture events. Legacy Square is hosting 15 watch parties throughout the tournament where the whole family can enjoy the games, play futsal and yard games, and grab food and drinks.
World Soccer Seattle Center Viewing Experiences
Dates: Select dates, June 11–July 19
Cost: Free
Soccer fans can gather at the Seattle Center nearly every day between June 11 and July 19 to watch FIFA matches on a large screen in the Armory, grab food and connect with each other. On select match dates, the party heads outdoors to the Mural Amphitheatre with live entertainment, DJs and more.
FIFA World Cup Watch Parties at Seattle Public Libraries
Dates: Select dates, June 11–July 19
Cost: Free
Watch World Cup action at your local Seattle Public Library! Fifteen livestream screenings are taking place at the Central Library, Lake City and Southwest branches throughout the tournament.
Game On, Everett: Waterfront Watch Parties
Dates: June 11, 12, 18 and 19
Cost: Free
Make your way to Boxcar Park for four waterfront watch parties complete with pregame music, gaming trailer, postgame entertainment and kids fun with Imagine Children’s Museum and local soccer clubs.
World Beat & Big Screen Soccer: USA vs. Paraguay Watch Party, Redmond
Date and time: Friday, June 12, 5–11 p.m.
Cost: Free
Watch the United States take on Paraguay at the Flatstick Pub’s all-ages watch party. The sports action will be intermingled with live international music performed before the game, between goals and during halftime.
Seattle Matchday Live at Victory Hall
Date and time: Monday, June 15, 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Four matches equal a full day of action at Victory Hall’s fan celebration where your whole crew can watch the heated competition on a 23-foot screen while in the shadow of Lumen Field and earshot of the roar of the stadium.
Puyallup Tribe World Cup Fan Zone and Viewing Parties
Dates: Select dates, June 15–July 6
Cost: Free
Join the Puyallup Tribe, one of the official fan zone partners, for one (or more!) of six viewing parties at their tribal headquarters. Parties will feature a live match broadcast, food trucks, vendors, games and activities for youth.
DNDA FIFA Watch Parties, Seattle
Dates: June 15, 19, 24 and 26
Cost: Free
Watch FIFA World Cup games at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center live on the big screen with your friends and neighbors. Hosted by Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association.
World Cup Watch Party Games at the Roadhouse, SeaTac
Dates: June 17, 19 and 24
Cost: Free
Join your friends and neighbors at the Roadhouse for high-energy World Cup watch parties in June. Each match will feature a food truck, live music and a DJ to keep the fun going for all ages.
Olympia–Lacey Fan Zone
Dates: June 19, 24, 25 and 26
Cost: $10; ages 12 and younger are free
Thurston County soccer fans can join the official Olympia-Lacey fan experience at Port Plaza for a scenic game-viewing experience which also includes kid-friendly activities and local vendors. Book your tickets now to watch featured matches at this waterfront venue.
World Games Watch Party, Redmond
Date and time: Friday, June 19, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
Cost: Free
Bring the whole family to witness the United States and Australia game at Big Block Brewing live on the big screen. There will be activities for kids and adults, food trucks and plenty of community spirit.
Gather with Goals, Seattle
Date and time: Friday, June 26, noon
Cost: Free
Head to Downtown White Center where you will find a giant viewing screen, vendors, food and kids area for an epic summer watch party hosted by White Center Pride and King County.
Woodinville Welcomes the World: Watch Party
Date and time: Saturday, June 27, 1–9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Take in three World Cup matches all in one day on the giant screen at Wilmot Gateway Park, with games at 2, 4:30 and 7 p.m. A variety of food trucks will be on site, as well as local wine and beer for the grownups.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show
Date and time: Sunday, July 19, 12:45 p.m.
Cost: Free
No matter where you decide to watch the World Cup final, you will want to be sure to catch the halftime show with Madonna, Shakira and BTS as co-headliners with international appeal galore! This first-ever halftime spectacle takes place 45 minutes after the start of the game and will surely please sports and music fans alike.
Community celebrations
Soccer Pep Rally at SEA Airport
Date and time: Wednesday, June 3, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
Cost: Free
Wear your team colors and head to the Central Terminal at SeaTac Airport for a pre-tournament soccer pep rally for travelers and employees. Get pumped for World Cup excitement with the Seahawks Blue Drumline, Soccer Freestyle performance by Cory Freestyle, Jett the Otter Mascot and more.
FIFA World Cup Opening Celebration with the Puyallup Tribe
Date and time: Friday, June 12, 7:45–10:30 p.m.
Cost: Free
The Puyallup Tribe is planning a whole slew of events around the World Cup, starting with an opening celebration featuring a community parade, traditional welcoming ceremony and fireworks display to kick off this historic event.
Kickin’ It Federal Way
Date and time: Friday–Sunday, June 19–21, noon–9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Experience World Cup excitement at a community fest for soccer fans and music lovers alike. Kickin’ It Federal Way brings the community together for three days of games, live music, soccer tournaments, kids activities and more at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center.
2026 World Cup Powwow, Puyallup
Dates: Friday–Sunday, June 19–21
Cost: Free
This three-day event celebrates Native culture through intertribal dance, songs, regalia and community connection, bringing together dancers, drummers and families during the height of World Cup excitement. Bring your family to experience this tradition at the Puyallup Tribal Administration.
VegFest at Redmond’s Downtown Park
Date and time: Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
Cost: Free
The annual festival celebrating plant-based living is also celebrating the World Cup this year with a FIFA watch party. Enjoy music, family-friendly activities and vegetarian and vegan food vendors while you watch live soccer match screenings. The fun takes place at Redmond’s Downtown Park.

The Beautiful Game: How Soccer Connects Us All, Seattle
Dates: Through Sept. 7
Cost: Included with admission ($19–$25; ages 14 and younger are free)
Through photographs taken around the world, view how soccer, a truly international sport spanning nearly all cultures and continents, connects us all in an immersive exhibit at Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry.
World’s Game Weekend, Seattle
Dates: Friday–Saturday, June 12–13
Cost: Friday watch party is free; Saturday activities are included with admission
MOPOP, the Museum of Pop Culture, is celebrating The World’s Game in Seattle with two days of fútbol film, fandom and fun. On Friday, watch the United States take on Paraguay at a free screening at Sky Church. The museum features a film about soccer great, Pelé, an exhibition of artifacts and a soccer clinic on Saturday.
Bubbles, Fairways & Futbol at Downtown Park Bellevue

Play games during a world-soccer-inspired outing where kids can blow giant bubbles, play soccer-themed mini golf, dance to music and share the love of futbol at Bellevue Downtown Park.
Soccer Science: Beautiful Physics in the Beautiful Game, Seattle

Known as the “beautiful game,” learn about the physics, aerodynamics and new technologies behind the soccer ball — the game’s most important piece of equipment — from physics-expert John Eric Goff at the Museum of Flight.
Live Game Day Screen Printing at Goodwill, Seattle
Date and time: June 19 and 24, 3–7 p.m.

Stop by the Evergreen Goodwill during select game days and get your own soccer-inspired custom tee during a live screen-printing featuring a design by local artist Hoa Hong in collaboration with The Vera Project.
Super Science Night: Science of Soccer, Bellevue

Explore more soccer-related science at KidsQuest Children’s Museum with fun learning activities from calculating the trajectory of a soccer ball kicked from midfield to learning the best ways to hydrate while playing a game. What a great way to kick off summer!
