Tiffany Doerr Guerzon is an essayist, book author, freelance writer, writing instructor and mixed media artist. Her work has been featured ParentMap magazine, CNN.com, Parents.com, Grown and Flown, two Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies, Motherwell, Sky Island Journal, Hippocampus Magazine and many more publications. She received a Gold award in General Feature Writing, issued by the Parenting Media Association for an article, "Free Range Challenge," in ParentMap, along with contributing writers Natalie Singer Velush and Jazmin Williams. Other awards include placing in the Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary contest for her picture book, "Loud Lani," and was a finalist in one of WOW, Women on Writing's Essay Contests.
Tiffany has been teaching Creative Writing in the Continuing Education Department at Green River College since 2019. She has given interviews both on television and in print by New Day Northwest, King 5 Morning News, Huffington Post, and more as a grocery budgeting expert. Her most recent grocery budgeting book, "Save on Groceries Without Losing Your Mind, 15 Strategies Anyone Can Use" is available on Amazon. Tiffany loves hiking, making messy art, and spending time with her family. She previously worked as a physician assistant and keeps her hand in the medical field with a recent certification in Wilderness First Aid.”
