Parents of young witches, wizards and curious Muggles: Your Hogwarts letter has finally arrived! Beginning Nov. 7, Vancouver, B.C.'s Stanley Park transforms into a spellbinding outdoor adventure with Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience. Tickets for the experience are on sale now.
Along a winding, illuminated trail, you’ll encounter magical creatures straight from the wizarding world, including Hippogriffs, unicorns and Nifflers. Young spellcasters can test their wand skills at interactive stations and even try conjuring up a Patronus charm.
After your woodland journey, you can explore a Hogsmeade-inspired village, scoop up some merch and warm up with Harry Potter-themed food and drinks (yes, butterbeer is on the menu).
The experience runs Wednesdays through Sundays starting Nov. 7, with each visit lasting 45–60 minutes. Tickets start at $49.50; children younger than 3 enter free. This event has sold out quickly in other cities — Accio tickets, before they’re gone!
One note: The forest trail can be tricky for strollers and wheelchairs, so plan accordingly before you set out on this magical quest.
