In our ongoing quest to bring you the best family-friendly free food offers, we've got a good one from Krispy Kreme. The doughnut chain is delivering again, with a pretty sweet offer. Starting March 22, anyone who shows their COVID-19 vaccine card can claim a free glazed doughnut.
And this is the sweetest part: You can go back every day in 2021, show your card again, and get another free glazed doughnut. Yep, you read that right. That's a free doughnut a day for the rest of this year. So even if you aren't yet vaccinated, you still have plenty of time to eat lots of free doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme says on its website that it wants to show "support for those who are protecting themselves and others by getting vaccinated." Nice.
There isn't a lot of fine print to this deal. Here's how it works: If you've had at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, simply show your card at participating U.S. Krispy Kreme locations and you'll get a free glazed doughnut. No purchase is necessary.
A couple of things to remember are that the vaccine sticker does not qualify, and no, you can't claim doughnuts for a carful of family members waiting outside. Each person who wants the free doughnut must show her or his card. This offer is good for walk-in or drive-through orders.
