It’s National Doughnut Day on Friday, June 3, 2022, and there are a handful of freebies and promos around Seattle to know about!

But first, we know you don’t need a special day to savor some tasty doughnuts; check out our guide to the best doughnut destinations around Seattle for doughnut deliciousness every day of the year.

National Doughnut Day 2022 promos:

1. Krispy Kreme
Among doughnut freebies, national chain Krispy Kreme is king once again. Krispy Kreme is giving out one free doughnut per person on National Doughnut Day. This freebie is not limited to just Krispy Kreme’s signature glazed doughnut; choose any doughnut you like.

And if you want to share the doughnut love, Krispy Kreme is offering a second dozen for $1 with the purchase of your first dozen. Remember, these 24 doughnuts are for sharing.

2. Original House of Donuts
South Sound favorite Original House of Doughnuts is offering the first 1,000 customers at its Lacey and Lakewood shops a free doughnut on Friday, June 3. Wake up early for your free sweet treat: Shops open at 6 a.m., and you don’t want to miss out on the free doughnuts! OHOD has true retro cred: It’s been serving doughnuts to families since 1959.

3. Legendary Doughnuts
Beloved local doughnut chain Legendary Doughnuts is offering a free coffee drink on Friday, June 3. Show the post at the link to claim your free coffee and of course you should not walk in the door of this doughnut shop without walking out with one or a dozen. Duh. Find Legendary locations in Lake Tapps, Tacoma, Covington, Federal Way, Puyallup, Orting and Issaquah.

4. Mighty-O Donuts
Local vegan fave Mighty-O plans to donate 10 percent of its doughnut proceeds from National Doughnut Day to local public schools. Supporting school kids? Eating doughnuts never felt so good. Find Mighty-O outlets in Ballard, Green Lake, Capitol Hill and in the Denny Triangle.

5. Top Pot Doughnuts & Coffee
Quick! You gotta act fast to take advantage of Top Pot’s National Doughnut Day deal. Call your local Top Pot to place your doughnut order — by closing time Wednesday, June 1! — to save 10 percent off your doughnuts. Find Top Pot shops in many locations around Puget Sound, but hurry! Shops close between 1 and 5 p.m.
