National Doughnut Day 2021 promos:

1. Krispy Kreme
Among doughnut freebies, the national chain Krispy Kreme is king once again. Krispy Kreme is giving out one free doughnut per person on National Doughnut Day.

Typically Krispy Kreme's promotions offer a free original glazed, so if you're a fan of apple fritters or other specialty doughnuts, you're in luck. You can also get a dozen doughnuts for $1 with the purchase of a regular dozen on Friday, June 4. Sugar to share!

Bonus: If you're vaccinated, you can show your vaccine card and get another free doughnut from Krispy Kreme. This offer is actually good for every day the rest of this year, so what are you waiting for? If you haven't yet, get the shot. Find Krispy Kreme locations in North Seattle, SODO, Issaquah and Tacoma.

2. Original House of Donuts
South Sound favorite Original House of Doughnuts is offering the first 1000 customers at its Lacey and Lakewood shops a free doughnut on Friday, June 4. Wake up early for your free sweet treat: Shops open at 6 a.m. and you don't want to miss out on the free doughnuts! OHOD has true retro cred: It's been serving doughnuts to families since 1959.

3. Legendary Doughnuts
Beloved local doughnut chain Legendary Dougnuts has a special promo for Friday, June 4. Bring a can of food for the food bank and you'll earn an entry into a drawing for prizes that include a dozen doughnuts a month for a year! Of course you should treat yourself to a doughnut or a dozen while you're there. Find Legendary locations in Tacoma, Puyallup, Auburn, Federal Way, Covington, Orting and Issaquah.

4. Mighty-O
Local vegan doughnut fave Mighty-O plans to donate 10% of all proceeds on Friday, June 4, to a handful of Seattle elementary schools located near its shops. Find Mighty-O outlets in Ballard, Green Lake, Capitol Hill and in the Denny triangle.
