How to enter
Giveaway and photo contests entrants are eligible to win if they meet the following requirements at the time of entry:
- The entrant is a legal resident of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, and is 18 years of age or older; and
- The entrant is NOT an employee of ParentMap; and
- The entrant is NOT involved in any part of the administration and execution of this giveaway; and
- The entrant is NOT an immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse, child) or household member of a ParentMap employee.
This Sweepstakes is void outside the geographic area described above and wherever else prohibited by law. There is no purchase necessary to win.
By entering the giveaway, you agree to receive newsletters from ParentMap. We never sell, rent or share your email address or information. You may unsubscribe from the ParentMap email list at any time.
The prizes
There is a limit of only one prize per person during the entry period. Winners will be notified by email within seven days of selection and must claim prize within seven days of being notified, unless otherwise stated. For example, our Big Gift Giveaway requires prizes to be claimed within 48 hours. If you are confirmed to be a winner of this giveaway, you may not exchange your prize for cash or any other merchandise or services. However, if for any reason an advertised prize is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value; and you may not designate someone else as the winner. If you are unable or unwilling to accept your prize, we may award it to a runner up; and if you accept a prize, you will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to accepting the prize; and if you are otherwise eligible for this Sweepstakes, but are considered a minor in your place of residence, we may award the prize to your parent/legal guardian on your behalf; and unless otherwise noted, all prizes are subject to their manufacturer's warranty and/or terms and conditions.
By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree: to abide by these Official Rules; and to release and hold harmless ParentMap and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Giveaway, or any prize won; and that ParentMap's decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to this Giveaway; and that, by accepting a prize, ParentMap may use of your proper name and state of residence online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with this Giveaway, without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law. This Giveaway will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of Washington for any disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes.
Photo contests
Each submission must be a digital photo, 100 percent your own work and comply with the contest rules. You can submit up to one photo per day, unless otherwise stated
The submission must demonstrate the theme of the contest. ParentMap has sole discretion in determining if the photo demonstrates the theme.
ParentMap editors will choose the winner and notify the winner by commenting on their photo entry on social media or via email, depending on the entry method. Winner must claim their prize within seven days of being notified or else will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected.
Use of photos: Upon entering one of ParentMap's photo contests, you are acknowledging and giving consent that your photo may be used on ParentMap's website, social media pages, print publications or email newsletters without compensation.
