I love this article on Salon.com, which raises the question: "Is it OK if your child is turning out to be a little...well...weird?" Or even a lot weird?
We're not talking garden-variety, superhero-cape weird here (and certainly not talking about learning differences, for instance); we're talking about kids with a personal style that's about 10 notches off of north. Like pretending to be a puppy....for six months!
It's an interesting discussion - especially since it's led by a writer who was literally raised in a circus. Enjoy, you weirdo!
