We are always excited when the Washington State Spring Fair rolls around. It’s got everything we love about the bigger summer fair — think rides, animals and fair food — but with smaller crowds. This year marks the 36th anniversary of the Washington State Spring Fair, so expect plenty of nostalgia and fanfare to be sprinkled into your typical experience. Plus, it comes at the perfect time of year when we’re shoving aside any rainy winter doldrums and embracing the season, right? Let’s do it.
In 2026, the Spring Fair takes place over two weekends: Friday–Sunday, April 10–12 and Friday–Sunday, April 17–19. Tickets are on sale now.
2026 Washington State Spring Fair highlights
New attractions and vendors
Cruise Intro Spring Car Show
Car enthusiasts, rejoice: This year brings a brand-new showcase to the fair, April 17–19. You can expect to see incredible rides, from retro 1950s models to the cars of today.
New food vendors
It’s not a trip to the fair without some yummy treats. The 1900 Food Hall and Rooftop Bar made its debut at the Washington State Fair last year, replacing the International Village and bringing a new collection of restaurants to the fair, including:
- Benji's Diner: Classic burgers, fries and milkshakes are on the menu, but you can expect a few twists.
- Upper Crust: Detroit-style pan pizzas with flavorful toppings are on offer, alongside giant soft pretzels with nacho cheese.
- Fat Panda: This Asian fusion restaurant serves up steamed buns, rice bowls and pot stickers.
Fair Meal Deals are returning this year. Every day of the fair, certain vendors will offer special $8 snack deals and $12 meals.
Returning fair favorites
Goat Playground
Barn D is where families will find this playful fair exhibition featuring everyone’s favorite blackberry bush annihilators, goats. Watch as 20 goats of all shapes and sizes romp around the playground, which features planks, tables, play structures and more. While the display is one way to keep goats healthy (with all that exercise), parents know it’s also a boon to kid entertainment.
Motorsport Mayhem
Popular Motorsport Mayhem shows take place both weekends this year, April 11–12 and 18–19. Slamfest Demo Derby takes place April 11–12. Crush Zone: Monster Trucks and Drift Cars takes place April 18–19. Tickets are required in addition to gate admission, and you can find lots of deals and packages online. Tricked-out monster trucks, smoke-filled drifts, smashing cars and boats collide for an action-packed event you won’t want to miss!
KidZone
Head to the Pavilion for hands-on exhibits and special displays. Kids can make a keepsake at the crafting station, meet master gardeners and plant seeds to take home, solve puzzles and build with Lego bricks.
Racing pigs
These little piggies deliver big-time entertainment every year. Watching the races is included with gate admission.
Animal exhibits
It wouldn’t be the Fair without animals to admire, including pygmy goats, bunnies, miniature horses, llamas and more. Viewing the animals is included with gate admission.
DockDogs
Athletic pooches race down a 40-foot runway and launch themselves into the air to catch a baton before splashing into the 27,000-gallon landing tank. It’s awesome! This show is included with gate admission.
Fiesta Mexicana
Enjoy music and entertainment with roots in Mexican culture on the Showplace Stage on Sunday, April 19; included with gate admission.
Monster Truck Rides
Catch a ride on a tricked-out monster truck for $12, in addition to gate admission; available Friday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. A limited number of advance tickets are available online; remaining tickets will be sold on-site.
