The weather may still be dark and chilly, but the announcement that always gets me excited for summer is finally here: the ZooTunes lineup!
From June 4–Aug. 20, an exciting series of artists will take the ZooTunes stage at Woodland Park Zoo, where most shows start at the family-friendly time of 6 p.m. (love that). The concerts will go on rain or shine and there are no refunds, so get that rain gear (or sunscreen) ready just in case.
ZooTunes are known for being fun for the whole family; you are almost guaranteed to see kids running around in the grass and dancing with their families near the stage. But keep in mind that children ages 3 and older must have their own full-priced, paid ticket to enter ZooTunes (children 2 and younger are free). Admission to the zoo is not included with the purchase of ZooTunes tickets.
Here is the 2026 ZooTunes lineup:
- June 4: Yacht Rock Revue
- June 14: Belle and Sebastian — 30th Anniversary Tour “If You’re Feeling Sinister” with Quasi
- July 1: The Revivalists with True Loves
- July 19: Pavement
- July 23: Maren Morris
- Aug. 2: Ani DiFranco with Valerie June
- Aug. 6: Suki Waterhouse
- Aug. 9: The Mountain Goats / The Hold Steady performing “Boys and Girls in America”
- Aug. 1: Jesse Welles
- Aug. 13: Jason Isbell
- Aug. 16: The Beths / Beach Bunny
- Aug. 18: Courtney Barnett with Built to Spill and Zoh Amba
- Aug. 20: The Breeders with Team Dresch
If the weather cooperates, bring along some food (or purchase some there) and have a picnic on the grass while you wait for the show to start (just be sure to bring non-glass containers and leave metal silverware and cutlery at home). Pack a blanket to sit on, or a low-backed chair (height limit 26 inches from the ground) so you can kick back and enjoy your evening.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. (Feb. 26 for zoo members) and are only available online, no tickets will be sold at the gate. Many shows sell out fast, so mark your calendar, and I’ll see you there!
If you go to ZooTunes …Where: Woodland Park Zoo, North Meadow. Enter through the west entrance at Phinney Avenue North, between North 55th and North 56th streets.
