Julie Dodobara is ParentMap’s calendar editor. Born and raised in the Seattle area, this mother of one spent several years out of the work force searching out budget-friendly ways to keep busy with her son, tirelessly getting out and about all around the Puget Sound. A graduate of the University of Washington with an editorial Journalism-focused Communication degree, she has freelanced for community publications, edited recipes, worked in local government and marketed children’s products. If she’s not on an outdoor adventure with her son or volunteering at his school, she can be found trying out new recipes or binge-watching the latest comedy or spy series.
