Meredith Charaba has served as ParentMap’s family fun editor for the past two years. For more than a decade, she has written and edited content on parenthood, health, and wellness for both local and national audiences. In addition to ParentMap, her work has been published on Sleep Doctor and Sleep Foundation. She has also appeared twice on King 5 News, sharing the best playgrounds and splash pads for local families.
As a parent herself, Meredith knows firsthand how important it is for families to get out of the house, no matter the season. She lives and breathes family fun, blending work with personal experience. In fact, you can usually find her scoping out new playgrounds, fascinating exhibits, hidden-gem spots and special events all around the Greater Seattle area with her young daughter in tow. She loves connecting with other parents and caregivers, highlighting local businesses and encouraging families to get out in their communities.
