Evan Nichols has been an elementary school teacher in the public schools for the past sixteen years. He is a Teacher Consultant with the Bay Area Writing Project and the editor of Digital Paper, a literary eZine for Bay Area teachers. He lives in Oakland, California with his wife and two children, an 11-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing at Mills College.
