Covington Days is the City of Covington’s annual summer community celebration that brings together residents, local businesses, community organizations, and visitors for a weekend full of family-friendly fun, entertainment, and community pride. The festival features a community parade, live entertainment, vendors, food booths, inflatables and kids’ activities, community booths, contests, and special attractions throughout the weekend. Popular traditions include the Covington Days Parade, watermelon eating contest, local performances, and activities for all ages. The event is designed to celebrate community connections while showcasing local organizations, businesses, and City programs. Thousands of attendees participate each year, making it one of Covington’s largest and most anticipated community events. The 2026 theme celebrates America’s 250th birthday with an “America the Beautiful” theme featuring red, white, and blue community spirit throughout the festival.
