Baby Jam

Seattle Baby Jam is an award winning music class for kids ages birth to three years old. Preschoolers, toddlers, babies, and kids from all backgrounds are welcome to attend. We offer fun, engaging, safe, low-pressure rhythm and music exposure for young ones. Help nurture your child’s cognitive development through hands-on drumming, percussion, and multilingual songs, stories and games.

Our class is a parent and child interactive music and movement experience. We focus on entrainment*, rhythm, expression, creative movement and having fun while making music with your little one! Through repeated exposure to the songs and rhythms that we play in class, your child will have the opportunity to develop their music and language abilities.

We drum, dance, play and sing songs in English, Spanish, and Hebrew. We tell stories using a felt board and colorful figures that spark your child’s imagination. We also have a jam at the end of our class that is lead by May and Blake. We like to encourage parent participation. If your child sees you playing and having fun, they are more likely to do the same! Plus, it gives you another way to connect with your child and begin developing a lifelong appreciation for music, language, song and dance.
