Sing-A-Long ‘Sound of Music’

Saturday, Jan. 17 @ 12 p.m.–4 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

Join us for a screening of the smash-hit 1965 movie musical in glorious, full-screen technicolor, complete with onscreen lyrics. Based on the amazing true story of The Trapp Family Singers, The Sound of Music is a cinematic landmark and winner of five Academy Awards®️, including Best Picture. Starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, the film features timeless songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Edelweiss,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” and more.

Before the film begins, you’ll test your knowledge with movie trivia and learn how to participate throughout the screening during some of the film’s most memorable moments. You’ll then enjoy the movie with your fellow attendees – costumed nuns, Maria look-alikes and von Trapp children – all singing their hearts out to the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein tunes. Costumes are not obligatory but highly recommended!

The running time for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long movie screening is approximately 4 hours, including the costume contest, which begins at the ticketed time.
