MayFest at Lakewold Gardens

Calendar/Event Details

Celebrate the arrival of spring and Mother's Day at MayFest! With fun kid-friendly activities, enticing drinks and eats, novel items for sale by local vendors, and engrossing evening events, there really is something for everyone at this year's MayFest.

This year you can attend the reception of Jennifer Von Holstein's "One Wilderness" exhibit on Friday, begin Saturday with a yoga class on the circle lawn, and listen to Rona Yellow Robe play her spellbinding Native American flute to the trees on Sunday evening when you purchase a weekend pass.

Some visitor favorites, like Mimosa Meadows and picnic baskets from Just Call Susan, will be featured along with new activities including a photo booth and DIY posy flower crown station.

On Saturday evening, we are proud to host poet and performance artist Monique Franklin whose Mama'z Muzzeum exhibit will be on display while she performs her acclaimed program for Black mothers nominated to receive the Black Queen Mother Experience.

Tickets are limited for docent tours, Mama'z Muezz, and the Voice of the Trees concert, so buy your tickets early if you can! Weekend and Festival passes can be purchased at the website below.
