Tibet Fest will take place on August 10-11, 2024 at the Armory Food & Event Hall. The festival is part of the Seattle Center Festál series. It is free and open to the public. More information to come.
Seattle Center Festál presents Tibet Fest (pronounced T-bet Fest) in partnership with the Tibetan Association of Washington (TAW). The festival showcases traditional and contemporary Tibetan art, music, dance, art and more.

This year’s festival focuses on preserving and promoting Tibetan cultural traditions through a fusion of ancient and new performing and visual arts, delicious cuisine, a marketplace, and more.
Highlights of the festival include:
- Traditional Tibetan music, dance, and cultural performances by local artists, as well as by students and graduates of the prestigious Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) in Dharamsala, India
- Tibetan food booths – the mouthwatering flavors of Tibetan cuisine with momos
- Himalayan Bazaar – handicrafts, jewelry, clothing, and souvenirs
- Photography exhibit by Kurt Smith
- A Tibetan Master Woodcarver exhibit with demonstrations
