Proudly sanctioned by Seafair, the 2026 Waterland Parade will feature marching bands, dazzling dancers, creative local businesses, and proud community groups filling the streets with excitement. Watch for the legendary Seafair Pirates and plenty of playful Seafair clowns bringing laughter and fun for all ages.
Grab your parade chair and head straight to the family-friendly Waterland Block Party,
from S 223rd to S 225th (the block in front of the Des Moines Theater) where neighbors become friends and the whole community comes together to celebrate – until about 10pm!
With a DJ, beer garden, activities for kids, special performers, and appearances from some of your favorite parade participants, you do not want to miss this!
