Breathe in the crisp mountain air and watch in delight as our animals play with holiday-themed treats and enrichments. Stroll paths laced with winter magic and decorations. Keeper chats at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The animals will receive a wide variety of enrichment: cardboard gingerbread houses, paper chains and even Christmas trees. All the enrichments are thoughtfully crafted by staff, are holiday-themed, and filled with meatballs, veggies, chopped fruit or other yummy items to attract skunks, lynxes, beavers and others to explore and investigate.
Take a Free-Roaming Area tour through the hushed winter stillness to spot elk, mountain goats and bison keeping warm — and giant snowflakes! Sip hot chocolate, burn off some energy at our Kids' Trek nature-inspired playground and shop for unique holiday gifts in our gift shop.
