Welcome to Evergreen Aquatic Center's Annual Water Education Event!
April Pools Day is a free event for children in the area! During this free event we will be teaching children about the importance of water safety in environments outside.
We will be doing games to teach children about hypothermia, swimming water safety, what to do if they need help, how they can help in an emergency without putting themselves in danger and much more!
Note: Due to a shift in funding, we will be switching gears to lifejacket fitting awareness since we do not have the funding to give away free lifejackets. This station will ensure everyone will know how to buckle and secure themselves in a lifejacket.
And as a reminder, there will be no public/lap swim that day but there is a free swim hour from 1:30–2:30 p.m.
