Saturday, Feb. 14 @ 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Do you want to learn what birds are in your backyard? Do you want to help researchers take a snapshot of their populations? You can do both, and more at the annual Bird Fest event.

Join us on Saturday, February 14th from 10 AM-2 PM at the Burien Community Center! Bird Fest offers families, friends and neighbors an opportunity to learn about their local birds and plants while participating in the annual Great Backyard Bird Count.

There will be bird walks, presentations, family nature walk, booths, door prize raffle, live raptors, crafts and hands-on activities for all ages. This festival is open to all, with no required registration, though there will be advance registration available for some aspects (coming soon). Half of the spots for each event are open for advanced registration and the other half of the spots are open to day of participants.
