Bird Lovers’ Day at the Ballard Locks

Saturday, April 18 @ 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

Hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Ballard Locks, this lively event is the perfect way to celebrate birds and discover the wonder of urban nature.

Heron Habitat Helpers will be out front at the Ballard Locks Visitor Center with information and displays, alongside other bird and nature groups.
AND – we’ll have spotting scopes set up at the colony so you can get an up-close view of the herons and chat with our expert naturalists. If timing is just right, you might even spot some newly hatched chicks — don’t miss it!

Free – everyone welcome!
