Celebrate Black History Month at People’s Community Center with free events and activities all month long.
Feb. 3, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.: Black History Celebration: Scavenger hunt, art activities and community resources, including free haircuts.

- Special Guest Speakers, Kwabi Amoah-Forson – Peace Bus, Arvin Mosley – Triple Impact Coaching, BIPOC Authors – Book Reading, Dj Don Gee Hosted by Boe Blast
- Free family swim from 1–3 p.m.: Swim caps provided for all styles of hair (Including braids, long faux locs, or natural styles of hair). Limited sizes will be available.
Feb. 17, noon–4 p.m.: Hilltop Health Kids & Families Carnival: live music, tons of fun and free services for kids and families.
Daily, Black History Trivia: Correctly answer a trivia question to get free entry to the community center or pool.
Fridays, 5–7 p.m.: Open Art Activities for Teens
