Join us at KiDiMu on Saturday, 10/28 to decorate butterfly wings and participate in the mariposa (butterfly) procession to Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) in honor of Día de los Muertos! BIMA will host their annual Día de los Muertos community celebration featuring an ofrenda (altar), art kits, music, and shared stories about the history and traditions of this festival, which originated in Mexico.
KiDiMu will have Day of the Dead activities in our atrium all day, including painting ceramic sugar skulls!

FREE Admission from 9 - 11 am
- 9:00 am - 10:45 am : Create butterfly wings for the mariposa procession
- 10:50 am - 11:00 am: Mariposa procession from KiDiMu to Bainbridge Island Museum of Art
- 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Sugar Skull Painting
