Downtown Edmonds Luminaria Walk

Saturday, Nov. 28 @ 5 p.m.–8 p.m.

The Edmonds Tree Lighting Ceremony is beloved by young and old as the kick off to the holiday season. But this year, after the tree lights up, there is even more to celebrate!

Something new is glowing in downtown Edmonds this holiday season! Art Walk Edmonds, with help from Art for All, Spark! Creativity, Heart Art Studio, Graphite Arts Center, Cascadia Art Museum, Edmonds Arts Commission and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce invite the community to experience the first annual Edmonds Luminaria Walk on Saturday, November 28th, from 5-8pm at Civic Park.

Immediately following the Edmonds Tree Lighting Ceremony, visitors can take a peaceful evening stroll through Civic Park, where hundreds of luminaria will light the way, creating a warm and magical start to the holiday season.

The evening offers more than a beautiful walk. Families can visit the Creation Station beneath the park’s illuminated pavilion for hands-on creative activities, and children will receive glow necklaces to brighten their walk through the park.

Designed to bring the community together through art, light and shared experiences, the Luminaria Walk offers a new way to enjoy downtown Edmonds during one of the most festive times of the year. Whether you’re continuing your evening after the tree lighting or looking for a special outing with family and friends, there’s plenty of holiday magic to enjoy.

Gather your family and friends, mark your calendar and join us for this inaugural celebration. Come experience the glow and help launch a new Edmonds holiday tradition!
