Downtown Issaquah Story Stroll: ‘Compost Stew’

Saturday, June 20 @ 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Recurring Event (See all)

The Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) and Issaquah Library are bringing reading, movement, and environmental learning together with a new StoryStroll in historic Olde Town featuring the contemporary children’s book Compost Stew: An A to Z Recipe for the Earth.

Families are invited to walk Front Street and discover the pages of the story displayed in storefront windows and public spaces throughout downtown. Written by Mary McKenna Siddals and illustrated by Ashley Wolff, Compost Stew uses playful rhymes and vibrant illustrations to teach children about composting, sustainability, and caring for the planet.
