Family Fun Day at the Harbor History Museum

Wednesday, Aug. 12 @ 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

Did you know HHM has a living history program, the Midway School Experience, where students “go to school” in 1915?

Held in our historic schoolhouse, the program is usually only available for school field trips. However, for one day this summer, anyone can participate in this fun and immersive experience!

Your child will become a student in the early days of education in Gig Harbor, taught by a real schoolmarm or schoolmaster!

Other activities will include a history hunt, artifact exploration, old-fashioned games and crafts, and storytime!
