Recurring Event (See all)

Join us for Flight Attendant Appreciation Weekend! From increasing safety on board the first commercial flights to fighting for greater rights in the workplace, flight attendants have played a pivotal role in the ongoing story of aviation.

Enjoy an interview panel with active and retired flight attendants sharing their inflight tales, from the humorous to the thrilling.

Peruse the Museum’s temporary exhibit, “Runway to Runway,” spotlighting evolving flight attendant fashions and perceptions in the Jet Age and beyond. Runway to Runway features 100 artifacts, real-life stories, and hands-on activities.

Stroll through “Beauty and Duty,” a special display of women’s military uniforms highlighting service, identity, and change over time.

Get crafty with a sewing workshop, scarf decorating, and other family-friendly activities.

Active and retired flight attendants receive 50% off* admission. Flight attendants are encouraged to dress in uniform, display a pin or other memorabilia, or otherwise show their high-flying spirit!

*Offer is for current or retired flight attendants only, guests are not eligible. Please bring proof of current or past employment via an employee badge, uniform, or accessory. Offer available in-person only, not redeemable online.
