Fossil Finders: It’s About Time — New Year’s Party

Wednesday, Dec. 31 @ 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Enjoy fossilized fun at five drop-in stations designed for young learners ages 3–8. Hold fossils and casts at the touch table, make scientific discoveries in the dig pit, create a craft to take home, and collect a new stamp each month in your Fossil Finders Passport.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Burke Museum!

– Join our “Noon Year’s Eve” countdown — complete with balloon drop and dance party! (Begins at 11:50 a.m.)

– Craft volcano hats and ammonite noise makers

– Compare fossils from different eras at our touch table and dig pits

– Add your art to our geologic timeline of life
