February is National Children’s Dental Health Month! Join the fun as we team up with local dental heroes to offer free dental screenings at Hands On Children's Museum. Plus, kids can step into the role of dentist in our interactive Puget Sound Dental Office exhibit, where they’ll have a blast checking out “patients” and learning the tricks of the trade.
Free screenings on Saturdays Feb. 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 2–4 p.m., and on First Friday Night Feb. 7 from 6–8 p.m. Museum admission is also free with your screening. Reservations required.

- Paint with floss and toothy tools in the MakeSpace (Feb. 1–2)
- Meet Amazon of Olympia as Captain Carter (Feb. 7 from 6–8 p.m.)
- Make a sensory bag with a silly smile for a fun mobile activity mat (Feb. 8–9)
- Silkscreen a smile paper poster for free or print on fabric keepsake for $15! (T-shirt, tote bag, or apron) (Feb. 15-16)
- Sew a Monster Mouth or Tooth Fairy Pillow (Feb. 22–23)
