To celebrate Freeway Park’s 50th anniversary the Freeway Park Association is dedicating July 2026 to honoring choreographer Anna Halprin and the Park’s legacy of dance with a month of free outdoor dance programming including workshops, performances and more!

- July 26, 6-8 PM — Pile Up with Heap Troupe: a Velocity Dance Center residency show
- July 30, 5 PM  — Dance Workshop 2: Scoring – Creative Tools for Artful Living
- Aug 6, 2-6 PM  — Planetary Dance and Potluck: A community ritual for peace
